I guess at this point you’re interested in who the person is behind the camera…

When I was a child, often times my mother thought I was outside playing with other kids, but really I was at the neighbors house sitting for hours looking at their family albums, you know…the black and white ones that were falling apart, as I sat there looking at those images, I remember my heart feel a burning. Even still I remember the smell of the living room, the way “Days of our lives” was playing in the background (que, born in the 80’s). As I continued to go through images of people I’d never know, it made me feel alive unlike anything I could express in words. It’s no wonder i’m still obsessed with moments and making time stand still.

These days you'll find me adventuring to locations trying to find the best spot for my clients, editing at coffee shops throughout the bay area, or in the airport, turning friends into family, crying at weddings because I can’t help it, sometimes finishing a book i’ve started, sweating so much I can’t see at Hot Yoga (I’ve been going for 3 years now and I’m addicted). Also, learning every day more about myself, I spent many years trying to be what others wanted me to be, I’d say now that I’m in my 30’s…I’m becoming more who I am.

A little backstory, Texas born, Arkansas raised. I think being from the midwest has me craving the nostalgia- i even hope that it’s a little bit of my brand, I believe a lot of my story and being interested in other peoples stories shows itself in the way I capture, when it comes to my photography style the story I tell for you through images is because stories deserve to be told, words are good too but images are my thing!

I love California as i’ve already stated, but i also love traveling, if you’ve found me and your wedding is in another state. Don’t hesitate to reach out, Let’s chat!
